Very excited to announce that one of my photographs is currently on exhibition at a modern digital gallery Heaven Art Gallery (AZ, USA). The artwork can be purchased through the gallery. The exhibition runs from 01 Dec 2017 to 31 Jan 2018.

I'm super excited as over the past 6 months I have stocked up on some special equipment; "new" equipment as in new for me, most of the stuff have decades of unknown life behind their belts. Hah! Anyway, I have finally equipped myself with a nice,  dedicated negative scanner: Nikon CoolScan V, and -finally finding some spare time- I have just been playing around with it over the past week. But that's not all! I'm now a proud owner of a restored and personalised Olympus Trip 35 (check out TripMan for his amazing work bringing back to life all Trip cameras he can find), and an actually new Lomography's the Daguerreotype Achromat Art Lens, though the lens is inspired by and modelled on the 1830s/1840s first photographic optical lens (all about this project here). I have yet to try the lens (being brass it IS heavy!), but once that done I may write about it at some point in one of my blog posts. And about the blog... its infrequency ain't that bad (ughm, 3x a year...), but hey! it's still on! In the last 4 months I had a few photographically successful and diverse trips so should cover it soon. Plus, I should probably also write a post on how difficult it is to go over tens of negatives, choose the photos I'm definitely happy with, and finalise series..... But I guess we all know the drill.

There has been a lot of stagnation in the past 4 or so years, but here we are back after a refreshing shower and a complete re-design of the site. I still have boxes of photos and negatives to get through and add to the site and that will take me weeks (or more likely months), but meanwhile I added two new site features: a very infrequent photo blog and an online shop. I will try to populate the blog once a month or so. As for the online gallery shop: more details soon!

A local, the University of Southampton, exhibition takes place on 22nd March 2011 at 8pm in Bridge Bar, Highfield Campus. A few of my photos will be on display. Hope to see there some of you!

Recently, I took part in a readers' workshop on street photography for the Black&White Photography Magazine. I am very pleased as it resulted in being part of one of their main features in the August issue, and having my first work published - in a certain sense.
